The ATVing world was rocked last summer by Polaris announcing that it was not only bringing back the Scrambler XP 1000 in S trim on but also his older brother the Sportsman XP 1000 with the “S” treatment. S for steroids?
Just when we’re starting to think the high performance ATV market was taking a dive, Polaris brings us a full redesign of these well-known machines with beefed up components and a wide suspension with long travel that is probably going to be an industry game changer.
Let’s see the highlight of both machines:
- Walker Evans 2 suspension with 12.5 and 14 in of travel.
- 55 inch wide stance
- 14.5 in ground clearance
- RZR Turbo S drivetrain
- 89 horsepower
- 500 lb load capacity
- 1750 lb of towing goodness
