CFMOTO has gone a long way from cheap generic ATVs… blah blah blah…  Most people that are into ATVs know of have heard of CFMOTO.  Now days, they have risen to being a contender in every ATV category out there.  They are also one of the rare non America based manufacturers to offer a high end two up machine.

The CFORCE 1000 people really want?

CFMOTO has upped the ante a little with the Overland edition of their CFORCE 1000 flagship ATV.  We have sampled the 1000 quite a few times since it’s release in late 2018 and it’s done quite well.  But now, the Overland package offers almost ALL of the most sawed after options for ATVers that love to travel with their ATV.

The CFORCE 1000 already comes equipped with a fully adjustable suspension with compression and rebound adjustments, great radial tires, power steering, linked brakes, CVTECH CVT transmission, fully lockable 4X4, a 3000 lbs winch, flashers, rear view mirrors and a horn.  It’s already an impressive package for the price of $14 499 cad and I have to say that I like what it offers but…

Add 1000$ and you get the following:

– Front and rear bumpers
– Beadlock wheels with CST Clincher radial tires
– Complete UHMW skid plates with CV shaft protection and a front bash plate
– Front windshield with handguards
– HUGE rear storage box with a secondary forward box equipped with a backrest
– Rear seat
– Powerful auxiliary led lights

Seriously? For a thousand bucks extra you get all this added to the already cool deal of the standard CFORCE 1000?  Are you kidding CFMOTO?  I can hear uncle Roger grumble in the background:  “It’s gonna be real cheap stuff!” I hate to rain on Roger’s parade, these accessories are now real factory parts.  Built in house by CFMOTO.  You can see and feel the quality of these add-ons and they compare to the likes of the American made offerings. How can they only ask a thousand dollars for about $2500 of extras?  I don’t know but its a no brainer right now.

To top it all off, I think it’s gorgeous to look at.  A very important detail for the person who purchases the unit no?

CFORCE 1000 our thoughts:

It’s well built, rides really nice, has a strong torquey engine and is as confortable as a Lay-z-Boy and, that’s no different as the “entry” level 1000.  What makes it such a cool deal is the Overland package that offers such a huge amount of the most desirable accessories at a ridiculous price.  We’ve beaten on this press unit hard and rode it like we stole it for the few weeks we had it and it was effortless with zero issues.

The CFORCE 1000 Overland does have a few issues and we will address them here:

WE DON’T LIKE:

• Sloppy high speed steering ( + 80 kph )
• Down on top end power compared to Can-Am / Polaris
• Cheap Aux light switch
• Heat from engine on ankles at low speed riding
• Turn radius too wide

WE LIKE:

• Comfort
• Very torquey engine from low rpm to midrange
• CVTECH CVT drive
• Front wind deflector
• Massive storage
• Premium passenger accommodations
• Fit and finish
• Powerful brakes
• Quality radial tires
• Auxiliary driving lights
• Beadlock wheels
• Included bumpers and full skid plates
