REVIEW: 2021 Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000

HOT DANG!
These are the words I blurred out when I has the throttle pinned to the floor with the speedo going way over the dreaded 84 kph speed limiter that haunted the two previous generations. This is more like it, a gorgeous looking machine that can walk the walk… I think they let someone from the YXZ1000 design team in by the back door at Yamaha headquarters when it was time to pick and tune this machine.
Is it all show or does it go?
Well, I guess you’ll have to take a look at the following video to get all the details but, suffice to say that Yamaha got it right the third time around! Not to say that the previous models in the Wolverine family weren’t up to the task because they we’re. They just lacked that one thing that could have taken an excellent machine to a higher level and what I expect from a Yamaha: POWER!
Instead of making the classic blah blah video with cool shots of dirt flying, I chose to film this one in first person perspective to try and give you a more immersive way to enjoy this review.
